In answer to the growing need for innovation in breast cancer diagnostics, Doylestown Health has made the expansion of the accredited Women’s Diagnostic Center at Doylestown Hospital the newest priority of ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health. Breast cancer is the leading form of cancer deaths in women, and the most common form of cancer both nationally and around the globe.1 Targeted investment in imaging technology and expanded facilities is critical to the early detection and treatment of breast cancer while also providing patients with enhanced amenities in a soothing spa-like environment.
With advanced screening options, the Women’s Diagnostic Center at Doylestown Hospital offers state-of-the-art medical imaging technology for accurate diagnosis and effective treatment of breast disease, in an award-winning hospital at the heart of the Doylestown community. Philanthropic support of the Women’s Diagnostic Center will have an immediate and direct impact on the delivery of cancer care in our community by supporting the expansion of programs and facilities critical to the early detection and treatment of breast disease.
Currently, the Women’s Diagnostic Center at Doylestown Hospital serves more than 17,000 people throughout the region every year. With increased capacity, the expanded facility will be able to serve up to an additional 2,500 patients with new lifesaving services, therapies, and technologies.
