In recognition of National Nurses Week, Doylestown Health Foundation invites you to pay tribute to our nurses with a gift that honors their courage, compassion, and dedication to excellence. Your contribution will be directed to the Doylestown Health Foundation Nursing Scholarship Program, which provides opportunities for training and continuing education for Doylestown Health nurses while they remain essential members of our clinical teams. The program also provides scholarship funding for Doylestown Health nurses pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing during their employment.
The nurses of Doylestown Health are at the heart of life-changing care. Their stalwart commitment to expert, compassionate healthcare delivery is inspiring. They are a testament not only to their profession, but to the quality of care and services delivered at Doylestown Health, especially in extraordinary times like these.
We are proud to honor our nurses. Join us as partners in philanthropy with a gift that shows your appreciation and support for their outstanding work. Thank you!
National Nurses Week is celebrated in the United States each year beginning on May 6 and ending on May 12, which is Florence Nightingale’s birthday. Learn more at the American Nurses Association.
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement concentrated on creating and inspiring philanthropic giving, typically on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving Day in the United States. In 2020, the nonprofit organization GivingTuesday announced “Giving Tuesday Now, a Day of Global Unity” to be celebrated on May 5 in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Their goal is to inspire giving on an international level to nonprofit organizations involved in fighting the spread of the virus.
