Congratulations to the 2025 Teen Volunteer Award Recipient!
The Exemplary Teen Volunteer Scholarship honors a teen volunteer who has donated the greatest number of volunteer hours at Doylestown Hospital, demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Teen Volunteer Program, and is a true leader among their peers. The 2025 Exemplary Teen Volunteer Scholarship was awarded to Prathika Gadde, a senior at Central Bucks East High School, who contributed countless volunteer service hours to Doylestown Hospital’s Same Day Surgery department. Prathika plans to attend We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors!
Gratitude message from previous Teen Scholarship Winner, Anahita Iyer
Since 2015, a portion of the Golf Classic proceeds have supported the Teen Volunteer Scholarship fund. Anahita Iyer was one of the first recipients. Anahita went to Harvard University, where she majored in neurobiology and minored in global health and health policy. She then graduated from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and is currently in the Internal Medicine Residency Program of UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Anahita reflects on what the scholarship meant to her in this recent video.
Kudos to Andy Brexler on a Hole-in-One first!
While no one claimed the big hole-in-one prize on the fifth hole sponsored by Thompson BMW this year, we did witness an exciting hole-in-one on the second hole by Penn Medicine Doylestown Health CEO Jim Brexler’s son, Andy Brexler! Watch the video of his first-ever hole-in-one celebration. We are thrilled that he achieved this milestone at our Golf Classic.

Tough to Beat!
Thank you to Elle Lundquist, a senior graduating from Central Bucks East, who challenged afternoon golfers to “Beat the Pro” on Hole 12. Ellie will be playing on the women’s golf team in the Fall at the University of Oklahoma, a Division I school. Only 11 golfers bested our “Pro!”

Air Cannon Fun!
The Air Cannon Golf Ball Launcher added a little excitement again this year, allowing participants to shoot golf balls over 300 yards with ease and accuracy and creating unforgettable moments of hitting the green on the fly.
We appreciate our generous 2025 Sponsors, Golf Committee Chair Chris Pattyson, and all the members of the Golf Committee!
