With picture-perfect weather, the 35th Annual Doylestown Health Foundation Golf Classic, held on Monday, June 1, at Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope, Pennsylvania, raised more than $135,000 for Penn Medicine Doylestown Health. Proceeds form the event and online auction directly benefit the Teen Volunteer Scholarship program and Catheterization Lab Renovations at Doylestown Hospital. The event was sponsored by 36 businesses and individual sponsors, 132 golfers, and 50 additional contributors who donated auction items and raffle prizes. The online auction closed on Monday, June 8, and garnered over $9,000 in support.

Congratulations to the 2026 Teen Volunteer Award Recipient!
The Exemplary Teen Volunteer Scholarship honors a teen volunteer who has donated the greatest number of volunteer hours at Doylestown Hospital, demonstrated exceptional commitment to the Teen Volunteer Program, and is a true leader among their peers. The 2026 Exemplary Teen Volunteer Scholarship was awarded to Ankan Pal, who contributed an amazing 476 volunteer service hours to Doylestown Hospital’s Patient Transport department. Ankan graduated from Central Bucks East High School and will be attending Elmira LECOM in the (2+4) BS/DO Program. In addition to volunteering in Patient Transport at PMDH, Ankan maintained a 4.38 GPA at Central Bucks East, is an EMT volunteer, plays 4 instruments, participating in marching band and shares his musical talents with residents at a local long term care facility. We wish him the best of luck in her future endeavors!
Tough to Beat!
Thank you to Steve Guidera, MD, retired PMDH Interventional Cardiologist, who challenged both morning and afternoon golfers to “Beat the Pro” on Hole 12. All participants were treated to custom cookies in the likeness of our Pro. WInners recieved a sleeve of Titleist Pro V1 golf balls. Only 31 golfers bested our “Celebrity Pro!”
Air Cannon Fun!
The Air Cannon Golf Ball Launcher added a little excitement again this year, allowing participants to propel golf balls over 300 yards with ease and accuracy and creating unforgettable moments of hitting the green on the fly.
