With One Vision, the new state-of-the-art Dee Ann and Marvin Woodall Center for Heart and Vascular Care expands the depth and scope of Doylestown Health’s nationally recognized cardiovascular services and provides enhanced access to patients throughout the region.
Centralized within the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion, Doylestown Health’s Woodall Center for Heart and Vascular Care features an endovascular hybrid procedural suite, upgraded equipment, and advanced technologies. An advanced pre- and post-operative suite and the 28-bed Della Penna Cardiovascular Intensive Care/Interventional Unit (CVICU/IVU) enhance patient safety, comfort, and privacy. Woodall Heart and Vascular also includes the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Suite on the first floor, opened in 2021.
Evidence-based design places our new facility at the forefront of today’s medicine. The Woodall Center for Heart and Vascular Care incorporates features and amenities that seamlessly integrate the highest levels of clinical care and patient privacy with a special focus on wellness and comfort.
“In this new facility, we’re using our decades of experience and best practice in heart and vascular care to do more of what we do best–take care of our patients like family and provide them with the best outcomes. This setting is completely state-of-the-art and patient-centered at the same time. This is a new day for heart and vascular care in Doylestown and beyond.”
— MaryAnn Williamson, MD, FACC, board-certified cardiologist
In addition to housing a comprehensive cardiovascular program, the third floor of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion accommodates the newly established Clark Center for Critical Care Medicine, serving as a new home for the hospital’s 32-bed state-of-the-art Putman ICU/IMU.
Our private patient rooms are designed to be universal, meaning patients remain in the same room as their healing progresses—from intensive care to the day they go home. Our family lounges are designed to be warm and inviting, our clinical stations efficient and welcoming. Everything in the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion has been designed with careful attention to detail to enhance the patient’s and family’s experience.
The three-story, light-filled Gorsky Atrium—named in honor of the generous contributions of Alex and Patricia Gorsky, honorary co-chairs of the One Vision Campaign—fosters a heart-healthy lifestyle with space to walk, relax, and reflect.
Located outside the front entrance of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion, the Byers Reflection Garden—named for the generosity of Byers Choice, Ltd.—has been completed. Watch the ribbon-cutting ceremony and dedication to the Byers here.
Designed using the latest technology and with extensive input from clinical staff, the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion is an outstanding achievement.
