With One Vision, we will continue renovations and expansions at Doylestown Hospital that create a welcoming and positive patient experience, foster educational opportunities for our medical staff, and advance our transition to an all-private bed hospital in the future.
Our ambitious plans for the future include a conference suite and learning center for community and medical education, improved wayfinding, streamlined patient access, and enhanced privacy for patients and visitors alike. Philanthropic support will empower Doylestown Health to invest in these and other program enhancements in the near future that will impact our community and caregivers for generations.
The first Doylestown Hospital was established by the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown (VIA) in the former John B. Livezey house at the corner of Pine Street and Oakland Avenue in 1923. Known as Doylestown Emergency Hospital, the building held eight beds and revolutionized healthcare in the community. In the nearly one hundred years since then, Doylestown Hospital has expanded and relocated several times, growing to meet the needs of our expanding community and to accommodate the latest advances in healthcare delivery.
Since its inception, Doylestown Health has always built for the future: today, we are making bold investments in expansions that will further elevate the patient experience and empower our physicians and medical staff to continue delivering award-winning care in a facility commensurate with their expertise. Our ambitious plans will pave the way for our second century of care.
With One Vision, we will carry on the legacy of excellence and innovation established by our founders, and continue investing in expansions and renovations at Doylestown Hospital that elevate the patient experience and empower our caregivers to deliver their very best at all times.
Your gift to our Second Century Fund will lay the foundation for the next one hundred years.
