Celebrating Recovery and Healthcare Workers in The Intelligencer
The Philadelphia Intelligencer covered the Associate Appreciation Luncheon held at Doylestown Hospital on July 2, as well as the discharge of Dianne Shields, who recovered from COVID-19 after 66 days in hospital care.
Courtesy of MeatWagon BBQ in Hatfield—and owners Nick and Adrienne Andersch—along with support from sponsors Ashfield, Blommer Chocolate Company, and Frankford Candy, the Associate Appreciation Luncheon was arranged in gratitude to Doylestown Health Associates and Medical Staff for their outstanding work and dedication, particularly during the pandemic response of the last several months. Keith Garner and Joey De Noble, who have performed multiple times at the hospital since March, provided musical entertainment for Associates all afternoon. Dianne Shields’ discharge was celebrated with applause and cheers from Associates gathered in the halls and Main Lobby as she departed to meet her family.
