December always seems to arrive when we’re not looking. I invite you to join me in taking a moment to pause from the hustle and bustle of the season and reflect on our accomplishments. We have come together as one community in so many ways. With ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health, we have set the stage for the future of healthcare, and thousands have joined us in sharing that bright vision.
The hallmarks of outstanding philanthropic support can be seen across our health system in projects accelerated by your support. Continued investment in our endowment helps us plan and prepare for the future. Working together, our staff, volunteers, donors, and community have accomplished more than we ever could have individually. Your impact inspires others to join our mission so that we continue to grow stronger together. In this season of celebration, the timing could not be better to offer our deepest gratitude for how far we’ve come.
This year alone, your generosity has contributed to so many milestones, including:
- The opening of the Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Center
- The establishment of our first-ever Endowed Chair in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- The opening of the Clark Center for Breast Imaging
- The opening of the Morel Family Foundation Center for Prenatal Care
- The beam-raising of the new (watch a video recap online!)
The One Vision Campaign is truly a reflection of Doylestown Health’s place and history in this community: one that is rooted in gifts from the heart, gifts from our neighbors, gifts from Associates and Medical Staff, gifts from grateful patients, as well as gifts from children selling lemonade on the sidewalk and local high school sports teams using their talents to support our vision. Most recently, the Central Bucks East and West girls’ volleyball teams made their most significant gift ever—$5,200—to benefit patients of Doylestown Health’s cancer program.

We are now only weeks away from the beginning of our Centennial. We look forward to welcoming you to a yearlong series of special events celebrating everything unique about Doylestown Health since the founding of the original hospital by the Village Improvement Association in 1923. This has been a long time in the making, and we couldn’t imagine this moment without you. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
From all of us at Doylestown Health, we offer our warmest wishes for a bright and healthy holiday season.
