In the world of philanthropy and healthcare, we are in a constant state of shift. Whether that means adapting to new, unforeseen challenges, or adopting new goals and priorities to better serve our community, there is change around every corner. Through philanthropy, you equip Doylestown Health with the tools and resources it needs to meet every new opportunity head on. We celebrate your generosity and the flexibility it gives us to continue investing in improvements and new achievements.
The end of June saw the close of our fiscal year, when the cycle of philanthropy renews itself. We are now closer than ever to attaining our ambitious $100 million goal, and—thanks to you—this has been one of our strongest years of fundraising to date! Both new and returning donors have shown us their strong commitment to investing in Doylestown Health’s second century of healthcare excellence and independence. Philanthropic contributions have exceeded $17 million in FY22.
This number is a milestone in itself, to say nothing of the other milestones we have celebrated this year—including the opening of the Clark Center for Breast Imaging. And we have you to thank for it. On behalf of the boards of trustees, the campaign committee, and all of us at Doylestown Health, I give you my warmest thanks for your generosity and your belief in our vision.
With the end of June, we also marked the end of the inaugural clinical rotation in the Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency. Robin Isaac, PharmD, was the first resident to complete a clinical rotation at Doylestown Hospital—the first of many. The PGY1 residency was directly supported by philanthropy. A founding gift from donors Jim and Jean Clark allowed for the creation of this program, and contributions continue to support its growth, making a difference in clinical education not just here but further afield. As Dr. Isaac moves on to the next stage of his career, his experience at Doylestown Hospital will empower and inform others…all thanks to donor support. (Read more about the seed gift from Jim and Jean Clark here.)

We are also thrilled to celebrate the achievement of the Medical Staff Giving Campaign, which reached its $2 million goal at the end of June! Generous commitments from physicians across our health system have made all the difference in reaching this milestone, and their impact will reach far and wide. We are honored and humbled to have the support of our network of expert physicians.
Coming up later this year, we look forward to celebrating the opening of the Morel Family Foundation Center for Prenatal Care, and to share news with you about our campaign priorities as they evolve. We are nearing our $100 million goal, and eagerly anticipating our Centennial in 2023. You will hear more from us as the Centennial approaches, but in the meantime, please consider continuing your support to ensure that we reach our goal by 2023. Every gift is essential, and never more so than at this moment!
Thank you for your ongoing partnership and support.
