On Thursday, May 7, 2020, Doylestown Hospital welcomed Philly Strong: Feeding our Local Heroes—a local food truck initiative arranged by Aardvark Mobile Tours of Conshohocken with support from Bimbo Bakeries USA, Dietz & Watson, Herr’s, and Ardmore Toyota. Larry Borden, CEO and Founder of Aardvark, organized Philly Strong to thank healthcare workers and first responders in the Philadelphia region.
Free lunch was offered to hospital Associates from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (with appropriate social distancing measures observed in the midst of pandemic protocol) with live music from Keith Garner and Joey De Noble, who have played on campus on several occasions since the beginning of the coronavirus situation. See the video below for a full recording of their concert!
Complimentary meals were also provided for the second shift from Manhattan Bagels in Chalfont.
