DOYLESTOWN – On October 24, Doylestown Health announced Steve Novello of New Hope, PA, as the Grand Prize winner of the 18th Annual Doylestown Health Raffle. The raffle drawing was held on October 23, 2019, during the Doylestown Health Designer Bag Bingo event at Delaware Valley University. With 650 tickets selling at $100 apiece, proceeds from the raffle directly support Doylestown Health’s Cancer Institute and Doylestown Health Hospice.
Raffle tickets sold out just days ahead of the drawing thanks in part to the attraction of the Grand Prize: $20,000 cash or a 2020 BMW 320i sponsored by Thompson BMW in Doylestown, PA. The raffle represents one of the health system’s most popular and significant fundraisers of the fiscal year.
Winner Steve Novello is a grateful patient of Doylestown Hospital and continues to be an avid supporter of Doylestown Health and ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health. “I was not trying to win a car,” says Novello about participating in the raffle; “it was more so to repay Doylestown Health for all they’ve done for me. I felt it was important to pay it forward, and I was just fortunate to somehow win a car just by donating.”
Additional prizes for the raffle went to Robert Siegle, who took home a $1,000 Visa gift card from American Heritage Credit Union; and Scott Kondraske, who won $500 in gift cards to McCaffrey’s Food Markets.
