2023 SPECIAL RECOGNITION RECEPTION
Hosted at historic Fordhook Farm in Doylestown

The Annual Doylestown Health Foundation Special Recognition Reception honors our most generous supporters, who are an essential part of the Doylestown Health family. This year’s reception location followed our tradition of partnering with iconic Bucks County venues and organizations. We were honored to welcome donors to a meaningful celebration on the grounds of the historic Fordhook Farm in Doylestown. The gathering not only honored the philanthropic spirit of our community but also marked a milestone century of caring that began with the founding of Doylestown Hospital by the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown (VIA) in 1923.

Against the backdrop of the world-renowned botanical gardens, George Ball, Chairman of W. Atlee Burpee Company, shared his expertise along with the historical context of Fordhook Farm. Guests discovered the beauty of each garden’s theme as they explored the extensive property by foot or trolley.

Expert docents from the Burpee team provided special insights into the form and function of the gardens. We would like to extend our gratitude to George and his team for the opportunity to host this special reception at Fordhook Farm.
