ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health is a comprehensive fundraising campaign that will transform healthcare delivery in our community. All gifts made to Doylestown Health will advance the campaign toward its goal of raising $100 million—increased in 2021 from the original $75 million goal— in recognition of the hospital’s centennial year in 2023.
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, Doylestown Health held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Children’s Village, which will be rebuilt on the Doylestown Hospital campus for a scheduled opening in 2023. The former Children’s Village, which operated on the hospital campus for 35 years, was destroyed by a tornado in August 2020. Soon after, Doylestown Health announced that rebuilding would be a new priority of ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health, and demolition took place in November 2021.
Doylestown Health Foundation is proud to recognize gifts made by Associates, Medical Staff, and Friends of the Heart Institute totaling $250 or more to ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health between July 1, 2016, and June 30, 2020. On November 18, 2021, three freestanding donor recognition panels were installed in the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion at Doylestown Hospital in honor of these donors.
In answer to the growing need for innovation in breast cancer diagnostics, Doylestown Health has made the expansion of the accredited Women’s Diagnostic Center at Doylestown Hospital the newest priority of ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health. The Doylestown Health Women’s Diagnostic Center will formally open as the Clark Center for Breast Imaging.
Doylestown Health Foundation is pleased to present this special film on the latest advances in diagnostic imaging at Doylestown Hospital, featuring interviews with Kevin C. Fillmore, MD, and Michele Kopach, MD as they explore the development of the diagnostic program, its importance in preventive healthcare, and the rising need in our community for these services.
On Wednesday, April 14, 2021, Doylestown Health celebrated a comprehensive campaign milestone with the ribbon-cutting and dedication of the Clark Center for Critical Care Medicine, featuring the new 32-bed Putman Intensive Care/Intermediate Unit (ICU/IMU), located on the third floor of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion. The Clark Center for Critical Care Medicine at Doylestown Health provides specialized care to patients with serious, immediate healthcare needs. Clark Critical Care encompasses all critical care services at Doylestown Hospital, including the new 32-bed Putman Intensive Care/Intermediate Unit (ICU/IMU). On April 19, patients were relocated from the hospital’s south wing to the Putman ICU/IMU while care continued to be delivered seamlessly.
On Thursday, December 3, 2020, Doylestown Health celebrated a comprehensive campaign milestone with a private ribbon-cutting and dedication of the Clark Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, which also features the Thompson Family Waiting Area and Levy Conference Room on the first floor of the new Doylestown Health Ambulatory Center. Designed with an emphasis on efficiency and convenience, the Clark Outpatient Rehabilitation Center is located on the first floor of the Doylestown Health Ambulatory Center and provides a one-stop location for all outpatient therapy multidisciplinary care. On Thursday, August 27, 2020, the Byers family gathered to celebrate the ribbon-cutting and dedication of the Byers Reflection Garden – named in honor of the family’s generosity to Doylestown Health – outside of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion. Read a recap of the event.
On December 17, 2019, major donors gathered with local dignitaries, cardiovascular critical care staff, and Doylestown Health leadership to celebrate the ribbon-cutting for the Woodall Center for Heart and Vascular Care, and the reveal of the three-story major donor recognition wall in the newly completed Gorsky Atrium of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion.
Doylestown Health celebrates a major milestone in the construction of the new, state-of-the-art Woodall Center for Heart and Vascular Care building with the ceremonial Topping Off of the steel structure. Nearly 700 people left their mark on the 20′ special steel beam which was signed by Doylestown Health donors, associates, community partners, and friends.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion took place on September 24, 2017. From there, construction proceeded rapidly while a special time-lapse camera recorded the process at intervals every day for over two years. Designed in recognition of the tremendous generosity of those donors who supported the development of the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion and ONE VISION: The Campaign for Doylestown Health, the three-story donor recognition wall in the Gorsky Atrium is a triumph of art and architecture. Many hands and many careful hours of planning and installation made this masterpiece come to life.
The culmination of years of planning, careful thought, and innovative design, the Cardiovascular and Critical Care Pavilion ushers in a new era in the history of Doylestown Health. The patient experience is at the heart of every decision, and meticulous attention to detail ensures that we are creating a unique, comprehensive environment in which to deliver exceptional care.

Aesthetic and structural improvements to the hospital’s main entrance will highlight the warm welcome traditionally given by our hospital staff and volunteers. New, streamlined pathways through the interior of the hospital will help patients, families, and visitors navigate our facility and enhance the patient and visitor experience.
Many thanks to everyone who supported the 20th Annual Doylestown Health Foundation Raffle! This year’s raffle raised nearly $80,000 in support of rebuilding Children’s Village. The winning tickets were drawn on Facebook and Instagram Live on Friday, November 19, 2021, at 1 p.m. EST.
The Annual Doylestown Health Foundation Special Recognition Reception honors our most generous supporters. We were pleased to host the event in the Byers’ Choice Formal Gardens, and celebrate both those who continue to give year after year, and those new to our family of donors.
With sincere gratitude for their support, we were pleased to host donors and their families in the Doylestown Health Foundation Hospitality Tent at the Bucks County Classic. The Village Improvement Association of Doylestown (VIA) was founded in 1895 by fourteen women concerned with the wellbeing of their community. In 1923, they established the first Doylestown Hospital. The VIA continues to oversee governance of Doylestown Health to this day. Doylestown Health Foundation is proud of the longstanding leadership and philanthropic support of the VIA. Congratulations on 125 years of serving the community!

On Thursday, May 7, 2020, Doylestown Hospital welcomed Philly Strong: Feeding our Local Heroes—a local food truck initiative arranged by Aardvark Mobile Tours of Conshohocken with support from Bimbo Bakeries USA, Dietz & Watson, Herr’s, and Ardmore Toyota. Larry Borden, CEO and Founder of Aardvark, organized Philly Strong to thank healthcare workers and first responders in the Philadelphia region.
On April 13, 2020, Doylestown Health invited the community to come together from a distance and send messages of hope and encouragement to our healthcare heroes on the front lines. They responded with an outpouring of support including prayers, photos, music, and artwork that we are honored to share here.
On March 30, 2020, we recognized National Doctors Day by honoring our doctors and clinical staff for the work they do every day.
